Our Host Employer is a leading company that manufactures and prints artwork/branding for precision metal packaging for a range of global brands.
Working with a state-of-the-art metal printer (the only one of its kind in Aust/NZ), you will
earn while you learn - no experience is required and full training will be provided.
This is an excellent opportunity for a young, energetic person who is interested in the printing industry and eager to learn how to operate printing machinery.
What you'll be doing:
- Machine Operation: Setting up, adjusting, and monitoring complex lithographic and offset presses.
- Learning Technical Skills: Preparing plates, blankets, and impression cylinders, alongside mixing inks and solvents.
- Maintenance: Cleaning, repairing, and maintaining machinery.
- Quality Control: Monitoring print quality, checking color accuracy, and identifying defects.
- Use general hand tools to operate equipment
This role is located in
Milperra, working
Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.00pm
About you: - Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Minimum completion of Year 10 High School
- Driver’s License and reliable transport
- Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test if required
- You love working in a manufacturing environment
