Expressions of Interest for a Mechanical Engineering – Fitter/Turner Apprenticeship with our host employer,
TEW Solutions, a highly successful organisation with strong project demand and plenty of ongoing work. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on, structured environment, enjoys solving technical challenges, and is eager to develop practical skills while working toward a nationally recognised qualification.
What You’ll Be Doing; - Preparing equipment for operation or servicing
- Learning to apply safety procedures and basic machine operation lathe, drill press
- Developing simple machining and turning skills including facing, drilling, tapping, and centre drilling
- Working with a variety of hand and power tools
- Assisting with basic assembly and disassembly of mechanical systems
- Assisting with welding, servicing, and repairing mechanical components
- Supporting the setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery
Location: Depots are based at
Molendinar and Brendale, Apprentices may work between each depot.
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday | 6:00am – 2:30pm (early finish at 12.00pm on Fridays!)

About you: - Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Minimum completion of Year 10 High School
- Driver’s License and reliable transport
- Completed a Certificate II in Engineering or relevant experience (preferred)
