About the role:
Our Host Employer, Liquip, are a leading provider in custom fabrication, repairs, and maintenance of petrol tankers, trailers, and trucks. You will learn skills and have experiences working on projects, that you will not get anywhere else!

They are currently seeking to recruit a Maintenance Fitter Apprentice. You will be working with a leading company in the petrochemical industry at their fully equipped workshop based in Largs North, SA. This is ideal for someone who is passionate about hands on work. This opportunity is a 4-year apprenticeship which upon completion will result in being a fully qualified Maintenance Fitter!

Some of the things you may do are;
  • Assisting qualified Trades and keeping the workshop clean and tidy
  • MIG and Stig welding
  • Pressure testing equipment hydrostatically and pneumatically
  • Learning to operate a lathe, pedestal grinder, rattle gun, torque wrench and various other hand/power tools and equipment
Location: Largs North
Hours of Work: 7.00am – 3.00pm, Monday - Friday

2nd Year/Stage Mechanical Fitter Apprentices are highly encouraged to apply.
