What You’ll Be Doing
As a Glass & Glazing Apprentice, your duties may include:
- Repairing and installing windows
- Installing shower screens, balustrades, and glass pool fencing
- Measuring and cutting glass for windows, doors, and screens
- Safely handling, transporting, and storing glass
- Reading plans and following job specifications
- Using hand and power tools for glazing and installation work
Duration: 48 months (4‑year Apprenticeship)
Benefits:
- The ability to earn money while learning a trade
- Obtain a Nationally recognised qualification
- Mentoring from experienced industry professionals
- All training fees paid for
- PPE provided throughout the apprenticeship
- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Completion of Year 10 High School
- Drivers Licence desirable but not essential
- Successful candidates must hold or be willing to gain a working with children check and white card
- Willing to undertake police check and pre employment medical if required
