About the Role
As a trainee, you’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople in a modern workshop environment. You’ll be trained on the job while assisting with servicing, maintenance, and repair work on trucks and trailers.

This is an entry-level position — no trade qualification required.
 
Key Responsibilities
With training and supervision, you will:
  • Assist with routine trailer servicing and maintenance
  • Support tradespeople with repairs and fabrication tasks
  • Prepare tools, parts, and materials for jobs
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely
  • Help maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop
  • Support day-to-day workshop operations
Essential:
  • Genuine interest in mechanical or hands-on work
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to full-time work
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Commitment to workplace safety
Desirable (but not required):
  • Any hands-on experience (work experience, hobbies, pre-vocational study, or mechanical projects)
  • Interest in automotive, engineering, welding, or fabrication
