About the role:
Our Host Employer, Liquip Sales, are a leading provider in custom fabrication, repairs, and maintenance of petrol tankers, trailers, and trucks. You will learn skills and have experiences working on projects, that you will not get anywhere else!

They are currently seeking to recruit a Spray Painter Apprentice. You will be working with a leading company in the petrochemical industry at their fully equipped workshop based in Pikenba, QLD. This is ideal for someone who is passionate about hands on work. This opportunity is a 4-year apprenticeship which upon completion will result in being a fully qualified Spray Painter!

Some of the things you may do are;
  • Paint, refinish, repair and maintain painted surfaces on a range of automotive vehicles, recreational vehicles and other vehicles in the automotive industry
  • Colour matching and mixing paints
  • Applying primer and finishing coats using spray guns and rub down surfaces between coats
  • Treat vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals
  • Sanding surfaces by hand or with power sanders
  • Touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles
This role is located in Pinkenba, working Monday -Thursday 7.00am-3.00pm and, Friday 7.00am - 1.00pm.

About you:
  • Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
