We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated apprentice to join our mechanical maintenance team in a busy manufacturing environment.
This is a great opportunity to build a long-term trade career working with machines, tools, and mechanical systems, while earning and learning on the job.

No experience is needed — just a willingness to learn, be reliable, and give things a go.

What you’ll be doing As part of the team, you’ll learn how to:
  • Operate and adjust production machinery
  • Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Repair machines and build components in workshop facilities
  • Assist with machine setups, changeovers and preventative maintenance
  • Use programs to monitor machine performance
  • Read and work from drawings and job specifications
  • Manufacture parts using machining processes like milling, turning and drilling
  • Cut, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic lines
  • Use hand tools, machine tools and welding equipment
  • Check finished work to ensure accuracy and quality
You’ll gain hands-on experience every day, supported by experienced tradespeople while completing your Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade.

  • Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
  • Willing to learn and take instructions
  • Open to completing police and medical checks as required
