This is a 4‑year Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship combining full‑time paid work with formal TAFE training at VU Sunshine. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople while completing a nationally recognised qualification. This role suits someone who is eager to learn, willing to listen, and committed to developing their skills over time!

Work hours: Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 3.30pm

- Assist with testing and basic fault‑finding
- Safely use hand and power tools
- Operate lathes and milling machines
- Complete basic MIG and stick welding tasks

About you...
- You will be willing to learn and take feedback on board
- Keen to start a career in mechanical engineering
- Comfortable completing trade school at VU Sunshine TAFE

- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
- Committed to completing the full term of the apprenticeship
- White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Commitment to balancing work and study responsibilities
