We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated apprentice to join our mechanical maintenance team in a busy
manufacturing environment.
This is a great opportunity to build a long-term trade career working with
machines, tools, and mechanical systems, while earning and learning on the job.
No experience is needed — just a willingness to learn, be reliable, and give things a go.
What you’ll be doing As part of the team, you’ll learn how to:
- Operate and adjust production machinery
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair machines and build components in workshop facilities
- Assist with machine setups, changeovers and preventative maintenance
- Use programs to monitor machine performance
- Read and work from drawings and job specifications
- Manufacture parts using machining processes like milling, turning and drilling
- Cut, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic lines
- Use hand tools, machine tools and welding equipment
- Check finished work to ensure accuracy and quality
You’ll gain hands-on experience every day, supported by experienced tradespeople while completing your
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade.
What we’re looking for - Interest in mechanical work, machinery or engineering
- Enjoys hands-on, practical work
- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Willing to learn and take instructions
- Open to completing police and medical checks as required
