About the role:
Our Host Employer is a leading pump manufacturer, supporting Australian mining, water and wastewater services. With over 80 years’ local industry knowledge, a vast network of distributors, three sales offices and two distribution/service centres, this is a great opportunity for an electrical apprentice to work with a leading pump manufacturer in the region. Become part of a large family of engineering and technology enthusiasts whose products keep fluids in motion the world over, you will experience a long-established company that values tradition while keeping an eye on the future.

Some of the things you will do are;
- Operate manual lathes, mills and drills and assemble, repair and rebuild pumps and equipment
- Examine detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task
- Operate and adjust metalworking machines to create parts or tools by turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding, or drilling metal stock or components
- Use hand and machine tools, welding equipment, and CNC machines
- Cut, thread, bend, and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines
- Work regionally or remotely (meals and accommodation will be provided)
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 6.30am to 3.00pm

- You are currently working towards Cert III Engineering – Mechanical as a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice
- Driver’s License and reliable transport essential
