This apprenticeship offers hands‑on training in
injection mould tooling, a highly skilled area of manufacturing with strong long‑term career demand.
The Opportunity
You’ll join a
small, experienced team that designs, builds and maintains injection mould tooling used in advanced manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, problem‑solving, and wants exposure to machinery and systems most apprentices never see.
You’ll be supported by qualified tradespeople in a safe, well‑run workshop while completing your
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade.
What you’ll learn on the job - Using hand and power tools, grinders and lathes
- Assisting with the repair and maintenance of injection moulds
- Exposure to robotic systems and injection moulding machines
- Introduction to MIG welding
- Measuring and inspection using verniers and micrometers
- Building strong mechanical knowledge alongside experienced fitters and toolmakers
No prior trade experience required — you’ll be trained step by step.

About you - Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Completed Year 10 minimum
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Enjoys working with metal, tools and machinery
