The Opportunity

Australian Industry Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is seeking a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice to join a host employer and continue their apprenticeship journey.

This opportunity is ideal for an apprentice who has already commenced their electrical apprenticeship and is looking to further develop their skills alongside experienced and qualified electricians. You will gain valuable hands-on experience while working toward the successful completion of your trade qualification.
Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-Time Apprenticeship
• Apprenticeship Stage: 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice
• Qualification: Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician

Duties May Include

• Assisting qualified electricians with installation work
• Fault finding and troubleshooting electrical systems
• Testing and commissioning electrical equipment
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Installing conduit, cabling and electrical components
• Maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively

About You

• Currently undertaking a Certificate III in Electrotechnology
• Progressed to 2nd or 3rd year stage of apprenticeship
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable, punctual and motivated to learn
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Current driver's licence desirable
• Committed to completing your apprenticeship
