About the role:
Our Host Employer, Electro Data and Generation, is a leading electrical communications and generation solutions provider to a range of industries including new greenfield projects, upgrades to existing sites or ongoing service and maintenance of critical assets. As an Electronics and Communications apprentice, you'll learn how to problem solve on DC circuits, correctly select, assemble, install and repair telecommunications equipment. You'll receive training from a safety focused and supportive team while learning an in demand trade.

Some of the things you will do are;
  • Running and terminating cabling to data, security systems and associate devices
  • Installing, maintaining and repairing cables and cable trays
  • Working with various hand tools and battery power tools, scissor lifts, data test equipment
  • Maintaining Rack servers, cameras, switches, access controls
  • Opportunity to work at different sites experiencing a variety of work
We are seeking Expressions of Interest at this stage from candidates that meet the below criteria. 
 
This role is located in Woodville but would also require offsite work. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4.00pm with regular RDO’s.

About you:
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
  • Minimum completion of Year 12 High School
  • Driver’s License and reliable transport
  • Cert II in relevant Trade, similar qualifications or experience
