About the role:
Start your career with our Host Employer, Liftrite, Western Australia’s trusted name in material handling and access equipment. Specialising in the sale, hire, servicing, and parts supply of forklifts, telehandlers, excavators, and access platforms, Liftrite offers a hands-on workshop environment where you’ll learn from experienced technicians and build real electrical trade skills.
As a Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technician Apprentice, you’ll learn how to service, repair, and maintain a range of heavy machinery while completing a nationally recognised qualification. This is a practical, varied role where no two days are the same.
What you’ll be learning:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am – 3.00pm
Duration: 4-years

- Servicing and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Working with diesel engines, hydraulics, and drivetrain systems
- Using workshop tools and machinery safely and effectively
- Following safety procedures and industry best practice
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am – 3.00pm
Duration: 4-years

About you:
- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Minimum completion of Year 10 High School
- Driver’s License and reliable transport
- Interest in mechanical or diesel trades

- Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
