About the role:
Our Host Employer, Philmac, has been innovating plastic performance pipe systems since 1929. Based in North Plympton, their Adelaide manufacturing facility continues to grow, producing high-quality poly fittings and valves designed for Australia’s tough conditions.
Philmac is seeking a motivated 2nd or 3rd year Maintenance Fitter Apprentice to join their team. This role offers a great opportunity to further develop your skills in a modern, fast-paced production environment.
Key responsibilities
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 6.30am – 2.30pm

Key responsibilities
- Undertake basic maintenance of factory equipment and machinery
- Assist with installation, repair, and upkeep of production equipment
- Support manufacturing processes for polymer fittings and pipes
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Follow all workplace procedures and safety standards
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 6.30am – 2.30pm

- Must be 18 years or older as you will be required to operate an overhead crane
- Driver’s License and reliable transport
- Genuine interest in manufacturing and maintenance with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a commitment to workplace safety
