About the role:
Our host company, a leading global appliance organisation, is committed to shaping better living for people and the planet. With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and collaboration, they are now seeking a motivated Mechanical Fitter Apprentice to join their high-performing production team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a modern manufacturing environment while learning from experienced tradespeople and engineers.

You will be immersed in all aspects of mechanical production and maintenance, contributing to the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of advanced manufacturing equipment.

You will learn to:
  • Operate and adjust production machinery to support efficient manufacturing
  • Perform diagnostic checks and troubleshoot faults to minimise downtime
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
  • Support machine setups and changeovers to maintain production flow
  • Machine components using lathes, mills, grinders, and drills
  • Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems for installation and repairs
  • Use CAD/CAM systems to assist with component design and improvements
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and technical specifications
Location: Dudley Park, SA
Hours of Work: 6.30am– 3.00pm, Monday – Friday
Duration: 4 years

About you:
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
  • Minimum completion of Year 12 High School
  • Driver’s License and reliable transport
  • You will enjoy working with tools and machinery, thrive in a production environment, and take pride in precision work
