If you enjoy working with your hands and prefer learning on the job, this apprenticeship offers a practical way to build a long-term career in a trade.
You’ll be placed with Liquip Sales, a specialised company that builds, repairs, and maintains petrol tankers, trailers, and trucks. No two days are the same, giving you exposure to a wide variety of work beyond a typical workshop setting. Based at their Largs North site, this 4-year apprenticeship will see you working alongside experienced tradespeople, using industry equipment, and developing real-world skills from day one while completing your qualification.

If you’re motivated, curious about how things work, and keen to earn while you learn, this is a strong opportunity. By the end, you’ll be a qualified Maintenance Fitter with valuable, in-demand skills.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Assisting qualified tradespeople and maintaining a clean, organised workshop
  • MIG and TIG welding
  • Pressure testing equipment (hydrostatic and pneumatic)
  • Learning to operate a lathe, pedestal grinder, torque tools, and other equipment
Location: Largs North
Hours of Work: 7.00am – 3.00pm, Monday - Friday

About you:
  • Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
