About the role: Start your career in
Mechanical Engineering with an industry‑leading, Australian‑owned company specialising in advanced drilling technology. Through this apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to machine, maintain and repair downhole tools used by some of the world’s largest oil and gas companies.
You’ll be trained in a supportive, safety‑focused workshop environment while developing skills in a highly in‑demand trade. Day to day, you’ll gain hands‑on experience using industry‑standard tools and equipment, including:
- Learning to operate advanced machinery such as lathes, milling machines and CNC equipment
- Manufacturing and maintaining precision components used in the oil and gas industry

Wingfield Working Hours:

About you: - Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Minimum completion of Year 12 High School
- Driver’s License and reliable transport
- Excellent attention to detail, numeracy and literacy skills
