About the role
Our host, Schneider Electric, is a global leader in digital transformation, combining energy and automation technologies to deliver smart solutions across homes, buildings, data centres, infrastructure and industry.

This Mechanical Fitter Apprenticeship is ideal for someone hands‑on, mechanically minded and curious about how machines work. You’ll gain practical experience in a high‑tech manufacturing environment while learning from skilled tradespeople.

Key responsibilities:
  • Operate, adjust and maintain production machinery
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Manufacture and assemble components using manual and machine tools
  • Read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
  • Ensure accuracy, safety and quality of finished work
Location: Gepps Cross, SA
Hours of Work: 7.00am– 3.00m, Monday - Friday

About you:
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
  • Minimum completion of Year 12 High School
  • Driver’s License and reliable transport
  • You will enjoy working with tools and machinery, thrive in a production environment, and take pride in precision work
