Looking to start a hands-on career in a skilled trade with strong long-term opportunities? We partner with leading manufacturing hosts across metro Adelaide and the northern suburbs to offer high-quality Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeships.

The opportunity
As an apprentice, you will complete a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, gaining practical, on-the-job experience while working alongside qualified tradespeople. Across our host sites, you may be exposed to:
  • Machine operation, maintenance and fault finding
  • Working with hand tools, lathes and machinery
  • Component manufacture and assembly
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Welding and fabrication basics
  • High-tech systems, automation and robotics (site dependent)
This is a hands-on role suited to someone mechanically minded, eager to learn and motivated to build a long-term career in the trades.

  • Machinist
