Special delivery for award-winner Ryder
We’re excited to share an update on Ryder Fiegert, our standout electrical apprentice named 2nd year Apprentice of the Year at the recent AEN SA Awards.
Unfortunately, Ryder — hosted to T&D Underground Power Services — was unable to attend the awards night in November.
It meant our Employment & Training Consultant Harry McCabe’s visit to T&D this month was extra special: he presented Ryder with his trophy in person.
As an added bonus, Ryder also received a great prize pack of tools, generously sponsored by Milwaukee Tools. His supervisor and main tradesman, Wayne Tonkin, attended the presentation and said he couldn’t be prouder of Ryder’s progress and attitude on the job.
It was also great to have another of our firstyear apprentices, Will McAllister, there to share the moment. Seeing Ryder’s achievement firsthand was a real inspiration for Will as he continues developing in his own apprenticeship.
Ryder continues to impress everyone with his work ethic, skill development and attitude. He’s a great example of where hard work in the trades can take you.
