Mechanical fitter apprentice Max Neagle, hosted to ARB Corporation, was named Apprentice of the Year at the Victorian 2025 Apprentice Training Awards, hosted by Apprenticeship Employment Network (AEN) and Global Apprenticeship Network (GAN) Australia at Melbourne Town Hall last week.

Sarah Hunn-Mozes was cheered on by family and our Apprentice and Trainee Centre (ATC) team when she was announced as the winner of the prestigious award at the Victorian 2025 Apprentice Training Awards, hosted by Apprenticeship Employment Network (AEN) and Global Apprenticeship Network (GAN) Australia at Melbourne Town Hall this week.

Internal Awards and Good News Stories

When Landon needed a new host employer earlier this year, he made a brave decision that set him up for success. Moving from Whyalla in country South Australia to Adelaide—more than 400 kilometres away—he joined the Bianco Reinforcing maintenance team at their Gepps Cross site. At just 20, he took a huge step toward his future, securing local accommodation and settling quickly into a new city and workplace.

Griffing is a 2nd stage Mechanical Engineering apprentice hosted to HRL Technology group in Melbourne. This acknowledgment reflects the consistent high standards he brings to both his training and workplace each day.

Since commencing his apprenticeship back in 2024, Griffin has demonstrated an outstanding work ethic, positive attitude, and strong sense of responsibility across all aspects of his apprenticeship.

Michael has just progressed to the 4th-stage of his Mechanical Engineering apprentice with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) at their Northmead site in Sydney, where he works alongside a highly skilled team of engineers and electricians. Together, they maintain, install, and improve the complex bottling machinery that keeps production running smoothly.

Our Apprentices and Trainees are encouraged to participate in activities that compliment their studies, as well as the companies they are hosted to.

Worldskills, Todays Skills Tomorrow’s Leaders are examples of programs that we promote and encourage apprentiecs and trainees to participate in to add personal growth and development skills to them acquiring the technical vocational skills through their apprenticeships and traineeships.
