Apprentice of the Month – October 2026 Madisen Holmes

Our Apprentice of the Month for October 2026 is Madisen Holmes

Maddy has quickly established herself as a standout apprentice through her exceptional enthusiasm, strong work ethic and commitment to continuous learning. Since commencing her apprenticeship, she has consistently impressed both her workplace supervisors and training provider with her positive attitude, initiative and determination to succeed.
Daniel Thoma, from Host company ARB Corporation who is the Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor describes Maddy as someone who is always one of the first to get involved and never hesitates to take on new challenges. She thrives in a busy environment and approaches every task with energy and enthusiasm. Her genuine passion for learning is evident in the way she embraces new opportunities, develops new skills and actively contributes to the success of her team. Maddy is already sharing her knowledge with other team members, demonstrating both confidence and a willingness to support those around her.

Maddy’s has received further praise from other supervisors reflecting on Maddy’s contribution, describing her as “a dynamo, always assessing the next step and constructively directing those around her.” This recognition highlights her strong initiative, forward-thinking approach and natural leadership qualities. Her ability to identify what needs to be done and positively influence those around her has made a significant impact within the workplace.

Maddy’s dedication extends beyond the workplace and into her formal training. Matt, her Employment and Training Consultant, advises that she is excelling at TAFE and is currently well ahead of schedule with her off-the-job training requirements. Determined to maximise every learning opportunity, Maddy regularly completes units outside of class hours, allowing her to make the most of her time at TAFE and accelerate her development. Her commitment to her studies reflects a level of discipline and professionalism rarely seen at this stage of an apprenticeship.
